Research and Teaching
I’ve always had a passion for learning, and some of my friends call me a nerd for it! I genuinely find joy in exploring topics, whether it's through reading, online research, or sharing ideas with others. Understanding human behavior and the reasons behind our actions fascinates me. Balancing my PhD studies while raising a family was challenging, but it taught me a lot about resilience and adaptability. My research on complex trauma and attachment inspired me to help others through the family-based program, Holding Hands Young Parents. This nurturing, trauma-informed initiative is designed for young parents and their toddlers navigating tough times, aiming to build stronger parent-child connections. Education is close to my heart, and I value the opportunity to teach at the University of Technology Sydney when time allows.
